Becca McMahon is a partner in the law firm and a native East Texan who received her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2013. Prior to law school, Becca attended Baylor University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in finance. Becca's law practice is heavily focused on advising clients as to estate planning matters, the management of business, and real property assets. Becca practice has led to experience in the following types of transactions and cases: estate planning, asset preservation planning, incapacity planning and guardianship, estate and probate administration, estate and probate litigation, entity formation, business and corporate planning, breach of contract disputes, business sales, business succession planning, and commercial real estate transactions.

Becca has represented clients in all aspects of the probate process, from probating a will, navigating an intestate estate where no will can be found, administering a complex estate with issues involving the funding of testamentary trusts and estate tax implications, guiding clients through court-supervised administrations, and working with out of state clients remotely on all of these matters, as well as ancillary probates, when necessary. She also has experience in establishing guardianships and advising in contested estate matters such as will contests, trust and fiduciary litigation, and guardianship litigation.

Becca's experience in business matters includes forming new business entities, negotiating contracts of purchase and sale of business interests and assets, mergers, conversions, and the termination of entities, as well as drafting buy-sell agreements, pledges, independent contractor agreements, consulting agreements, employment agreements, noncompetition agreements, and other corporate documents. She is also experienced in negotiating commercial real estate contracts, commercial property lease, ground leases, option agreements and rights of first refusal personal guaranties and pledge agreements, restrictive covenants, loan agreements, security instruments, boundary line agreements, and easements.

Becca is married to Josh McMahon, who is also an attorney at Skelton Slusher Barnhill Watkins Wells PLLC. They have two children, Lee and Micah McMahon.
